Huntington is always looking for working students and interns. This program is for individuals who are interested in gaining experience in the horse business with an emphasis on sales. We are currently accepting applications for spring 2008.

The program includes:

• Hands on experience with sale horses
• Prepping horses for potential clients
• Prepping horses for “A” shows
• Professional horse care
• Learn training techniques
• Schooling horses depending on riding ability
• Lessons

Requirements for working students and interns:

• You must have an excellent work ethic
• Good people skills
• Available at least 2 days/ week
• Some horse experience
• A written description of your experience and your goals
• Transportation 
• References

Please note this is not a salaried position. In exchange for your time, you will receive lessons and gain the experience needed to work as a professional in this very difficult industry.
